WEAVING THE WEB – Where does your Druid magic live?

Over the winter months, our programme will continue to grow, shaped step by step by your ideas. Because WEAVING THE WEB thrives on the diversity of its community.

What kind of magic is part of your region? Which customs and traditions are meaningful to you? How do you connect with plants, trees, special places, or your ancestors? And how does all of this find its way into your Druid practice?

Across seven areas of exploration, in different formats and at around 20 locations throughout the camp, we invite you to discover and share this diversity together: Ancestors · Eco-Druidry · Elements · Plants & Trees · Music, Dance & Bodywork · Arts & Crafts · Otherworld

Bring your ideas, your traditions, and your own personal practice, and help us shape the programme together. We’ll soon share how you can contribute and get involved.

Many people bring their own unique thread. Together, let’s weave our web.

Thursday – Arriving and Weaving the First Threads

In the afternoon, the gates of the camp open and participants begin to arrive. Tents are raised, market stalls come to life, and cabins welcome their first guests.

Following our evening meal, our Chosen Chief Eimear Burke and the organising team will officially open the portal to Weaving the Web. Afterwards, we will share important practical information and introduce the people whose work and passion make this gathering possible.

Friday – Connecting and Interweaving

Groves, Seedgroups, and guests from many countries come together in a celebration of community and cultural exchange. The marketplace awakens, while workshops, talks, rituals, performances, and creative activities unfold throughout the site. Across numerous spaces, opportunities for learning, sharing, and meaningful encounters emerge simultaneously.

In the evening, those who wish to take part in Saturday’s major ritual will gather for preparation. Afterwards, the Open Mic stages belong to everyone who has something to share: stories, music, poetry, songs, wisdom, or inspiration. Every language spoken at Weaving the Web is welcome.

The night continues with music, conversation, laughter, and the warm atmosphere of the taverns.

Saturday – Tying the Knots and Celebrating

The morning and early afternoon offer another rich programme of workshops, talks, demonstrations, discussions, and community experiences across the camp.

Later, we gather at the ritual space for the Great Ritual, the spiritual heart of our time together and a moment to celebrate our shared journey.

As evening falls, the celebrations begin. At the Grand Eisteddfod, songs, stories, and performances from many cultures and traditions come together in a vibrant expression of creativity and community. If weather conditions and local fire regulations allow, the fires will burn late into the night.

The musical highlight of the evening will be a performance by Damh the Bard, whose songs have inspired Druids and Pagans around the world. Together we will sing, dance, and celebrate beneath the night sky.

Sunday – Carrying the Threads Back Into the World

On Sunday, Eimear will ceremonially close the portal of Weaving the Web.
Then it is time to begin the journey home, carrying with us new friendships, unforgettable experiences, fresh inspiration, and the knowledge that for a few precious days we created something meaningful together.

Open Throughout the Entire Gathering

Alongside the daily programme, several spaces will remain open throughout the weekend for participants to visit whenever they wish:

  • A meditation tent at the edge of the forest, offering peace, quiet, and reflection.
  • A divination tent where we can explore possible paths and insights together.
  • An open creative workshop with materials for crafting and making.
  • An exhibition tent showcasing artwork, crafts, and unique creations brought by participants.
  • A storytelling tent where tales, myths, and legends are shared from morning until late at night.
  • Taverns that provide places for friendship, conversation, and community.
  • The marketplace, filled with treasures, crafts, and opportunities to connect.
